How will Kpop affect 2013?

Kpop is now expanding more in the US for sure, now for other countries maybe I just don't know because I live in the US. But mainly for one reason…Psy. Why, I'm not even a Psy fan, and definitely not a "Gangnam Style" fan either. I mean the song is okay, but it's no where near my iPod or phone playlist! So why is he the cause of this, because America seems to differ with me on Psy. Last summer Psy's song "Gangnam Style" became the hit that EVERYONE was listening to. I didn't hear about it until like mid September from watching Simon and Martina's "Kpop Music Mondays".

At first I liked it, but then got tired of it real fast. But not everyone at my school, and probably a lot of other schools too, since it's on freaking Kidz Bop. Ugh~! People started dancing it in the halls, twisting his words to make it fit to what they wanted, and the list can go on.

Well I remembered how mad I would get (still do sometimes, hehehe♡) at how this is the only kpop people know, and if I showed someone another REAL kpop group/soloist they would turn it down, or be like "Kpop Who?" I guess they don't know Psy is a kpop artist. Ha…wow!

I would also worry that people might get into kpop and become bigger fans than me. Like when my friend told me she now listens to kpop I was very happy to have my first kpop friend, but also afraid. I don't know why I get these dumb feelings. Although, the idea of having more kpop fans is really exciting. So I guess I'll just have to study more kpop, and practice my Korean everyday (so I won't get these feelings anymore)!

I wonder what will happen this year. Will the kpop industry get bigger in countries other than Korea, Will people still only listen to Psy, Will the new fans be as passionate about kpop as we are? So many questions that we'll just have to wait to find out!

"Rain Sound" by B.A.P

Ahhhhh Youngjae's voice is ringing in my head! It's so beautiful I wish he would sing more so we could hear his voice more.

Anyways, you probably guessed right, I listened to 'Rain Sound' (like many days ago ha, and I'm just now posting it), and I absolutely loved it. The video itself was amazing and their acting was on point, those tears and the pain in their faces, wow real good B.A.P! Now as for the B.A.P members themselves, I loved getting another chance to hear Zelo and Yong Guk do that rapping, singing thing again. Jongup had a moment of shine...IN THE BEGINNING, WOAH! hahaha jk! Daehyun always having an angelique voice, and of course Youngjae's sweet voice of serenity. Although, one thing i didn' t hear enough of was Himchan. Why doesn't Himchannie오빠 get more lines, same for Jongup, but even Jongup got more lines than Himchan! Hopefully he'll get more in the future, along with Jongup and Youngjae♡.

There really isn't nothing else for me to say except:

• TS Entertainment please give my Himchannie and Jonguppie more singing parts.
• B.A.P make a two songs, one with Himchan, Zelo, and Youngjae and the other with Jongup, Yong Guk and Daehyun (background vocals, rapper, main vocals).
•  Oh and for everyone to go watch it!!!

Jaejoong 'Mine'

This song just makes me wanna listen to k-rock, or even j-rock or hard rock! The man with the beautiful name, Jaejoong, came out with the song 'Mine' on Jan.16th, and since then it's already has reached a million views.

Okay, I'm not a religious TVXQ or JYJ, and/or any other related names, watcher but I have seen/heard some of their songs. From what I've watched I don't remember them being on the more rock side of the genre spectrum. Now if I'm wrong please don't cast stones at me, I'm just judging based off of what I see. Although, the Rockstar look does work great for Jaejoong.

The song is so catchy that you'll start singing it not even knowing what you're saying, unless you know a little Korean. While I was watching it I could help but notice how Jae didn't look like himself, he looked real different, but not in a bad way, just really cute ^^! Omo I just called Kim Jaejoong CUTE, ha first for everything I guess. Anyways before I ramble anymore than I need to, just check out the song it's really 대박 (good)!

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile, times aren't the best right now, and I'm still trying to get into a repetitious schedule of posting blogs. B2st has a comic book?!?!

I was on Twitter doing what I always do looking for Allkpop tweets, and of couse other stuff too. And the first one that comes up, well not really first but what caught my attention, was Beast/B2st’s comic book series “The Beast” is an action packed adventure with comedy and romance content. The B2st members: Doojoon, Hyunseung, Junhyung, Yeoseop, Kikwang, and Dongwoon. They have this supernatural ability used to save the world. The  process for creating the comic series took over three years, and now it’s selling in Asia. The first book of the series sold every copy, which was 13,000 copies, in just a week. Amazing! And now the second book is about to be release on the 16th in Korea, and on the 30th for Hong Kong, Singapore, Macao, and Malaysia. Also there may be releases possibliy for Japan, China, and Brazil. Now I know what I WANT to do,which is get another visa card and buy both books, and any others in that series!!! But as you see the word ‘want’ is in all caps and bold indicating that that may never happen, so a girl can only dream so much. 왜~,ᅲᅲ (whyyyyyyy, crying face)?!?!

STARTING THE NEW YEAR!!!!!

YAY!! 2013 is now here, and what's better way of bringing in the new year? Well with a new blogger of course! I really wanted my first post to be about "Kpop first love" but there's always time for that, right? So I guess my first post is a short about me, I'll do these self-updates every once in a while but other than that they'll be about Kpop. I have been wanting to do something like this ever since I first started watching "Eatyourkimchi" aka "SimonandMartina". They're Canadian vlog stars who live in South Korea, where our lovely’s live (Kpop idols, if someone didn't know who I was referring to). But the idea of a blog never came to mind until my friend Kia said she made one on Google Blogger, along with her now liking T.O.P, which is terrible because he's totally MINE!!!! Hahaha!!! Any who, I decided to make one but thanks to procrastination didn’t make it until now. Okay like they say "better late than never".
